Vocational Education & Training in Schools Subsidy

Connect 'n' Grow® is an approved Skills Assure Supplier (SAS), authorised to deliver this qualification as part of the Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) program.

Funded by the Queensland Government, VET in Schools provides fee-free training for Queensland secondary school students*. Funding covers only one employment stream qualification per student. Currently, the HLT23221 Certificate II in Health Support Services and the CHC22015 Certificate II in Community Services are included on the Department’s list of employment stream qualifications supported under the VET in Schools initiative.

My Options:

  1. Select this program as my one Vocational Education and Training in Schools funded qualification; or
  2. Advise Connect 'n' Grow® that I choose not to use this program as my one Vocational Education and Training in Schools funded qualification; and therefore undertake this qualification as fee-for-service (e.g. non-funded, where Connect 'n' Grow® invoices my school a per participant fee).

I understand that by choosing this qualification as my one Vocational Education and Training in Schools funded qualification that I forgo the opportunity to access another Vocational Education and Training in Schools funded qualification while at school.

Connect 'n' Grow® will notify my school's nominated VET Coordinator/Head of Department, if it is identified, post-enrolment that I do not meet eligibility requirements.

For further information, please refer to the Connect 'n' Grow® Student Handbook and the Queensland Government's student information page developed specifically for the Vocational Education and Training in Schools program (see link below) or contact Connect ‘n’ Grow® (admin@connectngrow.edu.au).

NOTE:  International students attending a Queensland high school on a temporary basis are ineligible for this Vocational Education and Training in Schools Subsidy. For further information, please contact Connect ‘n’ Grow® (admin@connectngrow.edu.au) or follow this link to the Department's VETiS Information.

I intend to use this Connect 'n' Grow® qualification - HLT23221 Certificate II in Health Support Services - as my one Vocational Education and Training in Schools funded qualification.
